Event No. 1

This past month, we stepped outside the sauce world and onto the pavement for something a little different—and a whole lot meaningful.

In partnership with our friends at The Strength Feed gym and the incredible anti-human trafficking nonprofit Shield NC, we hosted our very first Run Against Human Trafficking right here in Raleigh, NC.

It was a test run (pun intended) to see what it would look like for a hot sauce company to bring people together to move, move together in line with our core mission.

And we were blown away.

Small, Mighty, and Full of Flavor

We intentionally kept the event small and intimate. We wanted to create space for connection, conversation, and community—and that’s exactly what happened. Runners of all kinds (from seasoned athletes to first-timers) showed up with heart and purpose, taking off through the Five Points neighborhood and finishing strong back at The Strength Feed.

There was energy, laughter, and a shared sense that we were doing something that mattered.

Giving Back, One Step at a Time

Best of all, a portion of every sign-up fee is being donated directly to Shield NC (our co-host for the event), an organization doing incredible work to prevent trafficking and support survivors here in our own community. We’re proud to play a small part in that mission—and this is just the beginning.

What’s Next?

This event was proof that bringing people together through movement and mission works. We're already thinking about how to expand this idea in the future—more runs, more events, more ways to use our sauce for good.
